As a therapist for the last 20+ years, I truly believe that people of all ages, races and backgrounds can and will benefit from therapy. As your therapist, my focus will be to create a judgement- free environment where you feel supported to work through the hard things in life. Therapy is not always just “talking about your problems”; it is also working toward solutions. Some therapy may involve homework, such as tracking your moods, writing about your thoughts, or participating in social activities that have caused anxiety in the past. Regardless of your specific reason for choosing to start therapy, my goal is to encourage you to look at things in a different way or learn new ways to react to events or people, to help you live a brighter, happier life.

My ideal client is someone who is finished with doing the same things over-and-over and expecting different results. My clients are now ready and COMMITTED to change. I am a hands-on therapist who has seen and experienced a lot in life. These experiences allow me to speak from a voice of understanding and empathy.
